Regionals of North America
Volume Two

Come join us for an interesting, unique glimpse into regional railroading. At last check, there were well over 600 regional and shortline railroads operating in the United States alone. We find it amazing at the seemingly countless smaller railroads that are active in North America and the variety that they continue to offer. There are simply too many of these railroads to feature in a single listing. Regionals of North America is a collection of just a few of the many impressive, little railroads that continue to thrive in an industry dominated by the giant Class I carriers. The regional railroads depicted on Volume Two include : Arkansas & Missouri (AM); Florida East Coast (FEC); Georgia-Florida Railnet (GFRR); Indiana Southern (ISRR); and Louisville & Indiana (LIRC). Witness all types of locomotives, everything from Alco C420s, EMD GP10s, GP40s, and SD40-2s. In addition, most of the trains featured on this DVD are taken from mainline action shots moving along at track speeds that rival Class I operations. So come along for a vast, fun-filled journey across America and witness the variety that today's regional railroading offers. If you have grown a little weary of the monotony and lack of variety presented by today's big Class I railroads, this video will be a very exciting experience! Filmed 2001-2005. Videography by Mike Dixon. Edited and Produced by Mike Dixon.
