CSXT Oddball Lashups
Of all the locomotive consists we have captured in the past, I would have to say the most unusual and colorful lashups belong to CSXT trains. CSXT is a unique Class I railroad because of their willingness to run lease and foreign power in the lead position on many of their trains. We have witnessed many, many colorful locomotive consists on CSXT, most of which have made us scratch our heads and simply wonder how the power arrangement came to be assigned in such an interesting and unique way. Over the years, we have coined the phrase "oddball lashups" to describe the motive power consists we have captured pulling CSXT trains. CSXT Oddball Lashups portrays the locomotive power that has helped CSXT carve their own niche in modern American railroading. Strange, bizarre, interesting, unique, different? Call them what you want, but we promise you that the locomotive consists depicted in this DVD will be the most colorful and unusual lashups you will see anywhere. Videography by Mike Dixon.
