Best of 2006 - Volume Two

The Best of 2006 series picks up right where the 2005 series left off. Volume Two covers the months of April and May. We continue to follow the adventures of Southeast Railfanning videographer Mike Dixon, who is also a railroad employee, as he "sniffs out" those exotic, colorful, and unusual locomotive consists on various CSXT and NS trains running in the Southeast across the states of Alabama and Georgia. The trains are shown in chronological order. All of the exciting locomotive lashups you have come to expect from Southeast Railfanning are all here for you to enjoy. CSXT northbound manifest Q675 has some "real" foreign power today as Ferrocarril Mexicano (FXE) AC44CW #4517 leads the way through downtown Kingston, Georgia on the afternoon of April 4. This train is included on the DVD. With a Conrail-painted SD60I in charge, NS westbound intermodal train 271 crosses the Tallapoosa River in late afternoon light on April 15th near the Alabama/Georgia state line. This train is included on the DVD.
